South to host new regional franchise show

Memo Events, the exhibition organisers based in Basingstoke, who run a series of business-to-business expos across Hampshire and West Sussex, is launching a new brand of franchise events later this year.

Franchise South 2013, the first of four nationwide events, has been confirmed for 9 November at the Ageas Bowl in Southampton. The premier exhibition will showcase over 60 of the best UK and international franchise business opportunities, with over 1,000 expected visitors to attend over the full-day session.

"There's no question that there is a huge demand for a regional franchise exhibition, organised to the same standard as national events held in both London and Birmingham, and by an experienced team," said Matthew Larcome, founder of Memo Events and event director for Franchise South. "The show will allow people looking at buying a franchise the chance to meet franchisors locally, at an event close to home, and provide key features including renown keynote speakers, seminars and workshops, designed to further visitors' education on the world of franchising."

The exhibition is promising to provide Hampshire-based franchisors the chance to exhibit at the show to recruit local franchisees for local territories. Organisers are already receiving a lot of interest regionally with smaller franchises keen to exhibit as part of their campaign to increase brand awareness and leads for future franchisees.
