Headz Up Business is organising "Ladies, Give Your Business a Boost!," celebrating International Women's Day on Friday 8th March at Walsall Football Club. With an expected turnout of over 100 businesses, this is an event exclusively for business women from around the region to include keynote speakers, expert business exhibitors and structured networking. In the current challenging economic climate women are proving that they can lead the way in business, but success requires more than just a good idea and hard work. Anyone who has ever started a business, or for those working hard to develop and grow an existing one, will know just how much of a struggle it can be without relevant information, good skills and excellent support. The focus of the Headz Up Business event on 8th March, will be to bring together the regions women business owners, corporates, entrepreneurs, professionals, leading educators to provide and encourage business enterprise by successful women in business sharing their experience, knowledge and creating an environment for opportunities to network with key women decision makers.

International Women's Day is annually held on March 8 to celebrate women's achievements worldwide. Pushpa Alexander, decided the date would be ideal for Headz Up Business to organise an exclusive women in business event as they have also attracted international businesses to Headz Up Business events. In September 2009 Pushpa Alexander hosted a women's networking event attended by 19 Swedish female entrepreneurs. The following year in march 2010 Headz Up Networking model was adopted for a European Project WIN project (Women Innovating Network), five businesses' from Italy and four businesses' from Latvia attended to make links, exchange knowledge and share best practices with business's at her network. The overseas visitors included Settimio Bravi, the Mayor of the Municipality of Sant' Angelo in Vado from Italy.

The Headz Up Business event on Friday 8th March at Walsall Football Club, with the support of sponsorship from established business's including RBS is set to be a success. So with over a hundred women in business booked to attend, the day will provide plenty of opportunities for delegates, to learn new skills, find information to support encourage new enterprise, be inspired by successful business professionals and increase business opportunities by networking with key decision makers within the region!
