Networking in the City, also known as The Curry Club, originally launched in Manchester is now expanding its horizons and bringing together professionals in the property, construction and finance sectors to network whilst dining in the regions well known curry house Aagrah, Midpoint.

The first meeting will be held on Wednesday the 20th June 2012 and will be continuing on a bi monthly basis. The Curry Club has recently celebrated its 33rd Birthday. Originally established as a property construction and finance networking meeting, it has over the years continued to be rolled out nationwide.

MD Steve Kettle, who took over six years ago, comments: "We saw a niche to make Curry Club a national, industry specific network for construction, property and finance professionals. Its successful launch and on-going success in Manchester and Shropshire has led to the expansion of the business model across the UK, with Bradford now on the list."

He continues: "Each event is held in a relaxed, informal atmosphere, at a prestigious curry house or restaurant, where attendees meet key decision makers including financiers, surveyors, lawyers, architects, developers and contractors, to name just a few."

Kingsland Business Recovery, a Bradford based insolvency practice has agreed to sponsor the Bradford Curry Club. Rehan Ahmed, director at Kingsland Business Recovery, said: "Kingsland Business Recovery specialise in assisting companies with debt related problems and business turnaround and after making some excellent industry contacts and generating business opportunities by attending Curry Clubs we decided to start the Bradford event. It is a unique and proven idea where professionals can develop property related contacts in an informal environment and I believe the only one of its kind in the county."

Bradford based Platinum Partnership Solicitors are specialist property solicitors who deal with residential and commercial properties across the UK. The Senior Partner Nasreen Karim said she was delighted to be sponsoring the event. She said "in a difficult property market it is essential to have the right contacts and this type of networking event is essential as it brings together professionals specific to this sector".

Saltaire based Xpand Marketing are also sponsors for the event.

Networking and registration accompanied by a pre-drink will start at 12pm, attendees will then have an introduction from the host followed by an opportunity to spice up their networking over a pan-Asian dinner courtesy of Aagrah, Midpoint, Bradford.
