The ICoC Business Give or Take Day is Back

Businesses in Islington are being given another opportunity to have an office spring clean in 2012, giving their unwanted items such as chairs, desks, and stationery a new home at a local charity or small business.

The February 2012 Business Give or Take Day is the fourth event of its kind to be run by Islington Chamber of Commerce with funding from The Big Lottery Fund. The event aims to divert over 10 tonnes of reusable office items from landfill and incineration, ensuring their continued use by organisations that need them the most.

Items that can be donated include good quality office chairs, desks, filing cabinets, stationery (unused reams of paper, pens, folders, file dividers etc), computers, printers, office telephones and business books.

Any third sector organisation, charity or small start-up business located in, or affiliated to, Islington can register to attend this event

The deadline for donating items and for registering to attend the FREE event is 5pm on 14th February 2012.
