The winner for the prestigious What's On 4 Me 2011 Awards has been announced - and Amanda Dixon of I Am You Limited has won.

The What's On 4 Award programmes are now in their fifth year and celebrate the best activities from throughout the UK - both for kids and adults - as nominated and voted for by the UK public.

Amanda Dixon from Gateshead won the category for Most Outstanding Learning Tutor having received at least 3 nominations and the most UK Public cotes.

Amanda Dixon offers Social Media Training either in a Workshop Environment or on a 1-2-1 Tutoring basis. She teaches Business Owners, Company Directors or Employees to use Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter efficiently and effectively using easy to understand non-complicated terms! She has also just launched her new company, The Social Media Angels, which provides Social Media online training modules. Amanda also runs an extremely successful Networking Event, Monday Motivation, where she encourages local business people to come together and "brainstorm" on a Monday Morning at the Copthorne Hotel.

Amanda Dixon from I Am You Limited , said: "My 4 children laughed when I told them of my intention to train people in the use of Facebook. My 14 year old son asked if I would be teaching people how to build farms! I love training people. All of the Companies that come to me for training understand the importance of their business presence on Social Media, but quite often don't understand why or how to manage it. I love to see peoples' reactions when it finally "clicks" and the Client finally gets it! It's an extremely rewarding, enjoyable and varied job"

Each and every activity, community group, entertainer and volunteer from throughout the UK has had the opportunity to be nominated, thus ensuring these awards are a true representation of views and a reflection of their eagerness to reward the very best!

What's On 4 Me owner - Marilyn Bradshaw - adds: "I was so excited about our 2011 Awards! Amanda should be very proud that the UK public were so keen to nominate and reward her."
