November 10 2011 - NatWest is taking to the road with the launch of an 'Ambitions Bus' to bring free business advice direct to entrepreneurs looking to start their own company and existing SME business owners.

The bus has toured the UK stopping at 16 other locations during the past two months, with the UK tour culminating in London with three stops including:

• London South Bank University, 24 November

• Islington Chamber of Commerce, 25 November

• Wandsworth Youth Enterprise Centre (WYEC), 28 November

NatWest has worked closely with London enterprise agencies to understand their members needs and tailor free workshops sessions for their members.

The Islington Chamber of Commerce and Camden Business Network is proud to support this superb initiative at a time when banks are often seen as "no-go" areas this is further proof that our financial services sector can and will continue to do all it can to support small businesses. - Ronke Lawal, Chief Executive Islington Chamber of Commerce. The Camden Business Network is a new and growing chapter of The Islington Chamber of Commerce.

Onboard the bus, invitees will have access to free tailored business advice from a range of experts. Each of the events will centre on perfecting pitching techniques during a series of workshops led by entrepreneurs and business owners Hamish Forsyth and Robyn Scott.

Both Hamish and Robyn are co-founders of OneLeap.to, which is a tool allowing small businesses to pitch directly to senior dealmakers, decision makers and importantly potential investors. Recognising a skills gap, they launched Pitchme, a programme designed to help small businesses and entrepreneurs learn to deliver more effective pitches to potential clients, investors and mentors.

Hamish Forsyth, Co-Founder of OneLeap.to and the Pitchme campaign commented:

"We are delighted to get on board the bus and bring our expertise to budding talents of the future. We offer condensed hands on sessions, really enabling participants to walk out after just 30 minutes with practiced insight into the art of pitching. We look forward to welcoming people aboard."

Further guidance, training and networking opportunities will be offered by representatives from HMRC, Smarta the independent support network for start ups and small business owners, and NatWest.

Nick Howe, Enterprise Manager for NatWest Business Banking in London, said: "Small businesses and entrepreneurs form the backbone of the London's economy. We're committed to making it easier for them to do business particularly in the current climate. We would encourage business owners or those people thinking of starting up for the first time to come and talk to us to see what kind of help and support is available."
