London Chinatown Chinese Community Centre Networking Event on 19 November

On the 19th November 2009, the Fundraising team of London Chinese Community Centre (LCCC) will hold a Charity Networking Evening to raise funds for the Centre at Stanza Restaurant and Late Night Bar in Central London. The guest speaker for the evening will be Alan Yau. The event will welcome 150 young Chinese professionals living in the community across London.

Alan has built up an impressive restaurant empire from scratch. From Wagamama, Busaba Eathai and Hakkasan to Yauatcha, Cha Cha Moon and Sake No Hana, Alan has transformed the experience of Oriental dining in London. He has a varied portfolio ranging from casual eating to high-end luxury dining. His latest venture, Princi, has already become a trendy meeting place in the heart of London's Soho district. Alan's vision fuses his cultural background with an acute sense of opportunity and business acumen, whilst pushing the boundaries of attention to detail and design gaining him widespread critical acclaim. He will be sharing with us his valuable experience and the secrets of his success.

The LCCC was established in London Chinatown in 1980 and aims to improve the quality of life and well-being of the Chinese Community in Britain, particularly those who are disadvantaged. They are based in Gerard Street, in the heart of London's Chinatown. They are open seven days a week and provide a wide range of information, advice and training serves plus social and community activities. The Centre is open to all.
