This month, social media, marketing and design queen, Sophie Robinson of Soro Studio will be telling us The Importance Of Being Human On Social Media And How To Do It.

This talk will help you understand how to act on social media to make potential clients warm to you on a human to human level.

Location.

Held at Wiff Waff on Ipswich quay, we have a section all to ourselves in a beautiful venue. Afterwards, you can have a game of table tennis, pool or darts.

7.30 - Meet, greet & network. Your chance to sign in, grab a drink and speak to people of your choosing.

8.00 - Introduction.

8.05 - Your chance to tell the room about yourself with a difference.

8.30 - Grab another drink/networking.

8.45 - Presentation from Sophie.

9.15 - Further networking.

9.30 - End/move out into Wiff to continue the drinking or have a game of table tennis!

Powered Up Business Networking is a monthly evening event based in Ipswich, Suffolk. Our events are on the 2nd to last Thursday of every month and it takes place in the pub!

Being a business owner can be tough, spending all hours working, no social life and being in front of a computer screen a lot of the time. Powered Up Business Networking gives you the opportunity to still be working and to have a drink or 4 at the same time.

We believe in getting to know the people behind their businesses and to find common ground. This establishes a stronger personal bond which can then move forwards to building a strong working relationship.

Each month, we make slight tweaks to keep things fresh and to get people slightly out of their comfort zone to assist in forging new relationships - after all, that is one of the things you want to do when business networking!

Each month we have a speaker each month that will provide true value. Information that can be taken away and used in your businesses. There's nothing worse that going to a business networking event to listen to someone pitch for 30 minutes. Learning is an important part of business and what better way to learn than in a pub with a drink in your hand?

We also understand that for some, business networking can be very daunting, especially if you're new to it all. Our events are super relaxed and everyone that attends is an all round good egg. There's no stuffiness, no people ramming their business down your throat and no pressure to do anything that you don't want to do. We just want you to have an enjoyable experience.
