The Oxfordshire Project is a business networking community set up to support and help local businesses to grow.

Our focus is on building a community rather than just contacts, and our members benefit from the supportive community of businesses who trust each other and work towards the same goal.

Our speaker will be Sarka Sara Wilde.

Achieve Your Dream

Šárka is a realist who knows that it's all very well having a dream but you've got to overcome your fears and make it happen. She did exactly that, not only in her business life but as a fundraiser for a worthy local cause, TOP charity Banbury Young Homelessness Project (BYHP).

It was during the time she was setting up the estate agency that Šárka started to think about giving something back and with her focus on property she began to think about the issue of homelessness. She became aware of BYHP and liked what they were doing.

Wanting to do something substantial to help BYHP, when the opportunity to climb Kilimanjaro came up she realised that it would be the perfect way to contribute. So, in January 2017 despite some ill health during the trip, she successfully made the ascent to the top of the mountain, raising over £7300 in the process.

Whilst raising money for BYHP she also was able to demonstrate to the young people they work with that such a challenge is a great example of being able to achieve whatever you want, if you put your mind to it and face your fears.
