Fuckup Nights - The Mix - Bull***t Free Business Networking

The Mix is a new format for meeting other business owners/managers in York. We like to think of it as the bastard love child of traditional business networking and a night out at Kennedy's.

Business networking events can be boring, cliched and often downright painful. Often built around stand-up elevator pitches, distribution of business cards and forced sharing of 'leads', these events are stuck in the dark ages and things need to move on.

So come and join us in The Den, downstairs at Micklegate Social. Bring along your favourite piece of music on vinyl and hand it to the DJ on arrival, along with one of our special tags that we'll give you on the evening. When it's time to play your record, the DJ will read out your name, the reason you love that song and 10 words about you. Then it's over to your fellow attendees to chat to you about your tune, your business ... or anything else.

Music is the greatest ice-breaker - much better than cheesy business cards or elevator pitches. We want you to use this event to make friends, learn about their business and share a love of music.

We start at 7PM. Be there early to get your tune played first and maximise your exposure.
