Always thought about writing and releasing a book?

Got an idea for a book, and looking for feedback, or wondering what to do next?

Interested in connecting with, and getting to know, other local business owners?

To celebrate the fifth anniversary of the book group, this month's Books & Networking will be on the theme of writing and self publishing your own book - we will discuss the books we are writing, written, considering or want to write!

Support, encouragement, accountability, and a push to get started or progress with your book idea.

This event is also be ideal if you are looking for a sounding board for your book ideas.

Whether you have considered writing a book, something you have thought about and want to do something about it, currently working on a book, curious on what's involved with creating a book, or already an author - this event will be for you.

Books & Networking are small, relaxed and informal networking events with a book theme - an opportunity to meet other business owners, share knowledge and discuss the books you are currently reading (or for this month writing).

As with any other networking event, there will be an opportunity for general business discussions, networking and getting to know everyone.

Everyone will have an opportunity to discuss the books they are writing (or considering writing), share knowledge, and discuss goals.

Don't worry if you are not currently writing a book, or not even sure what to write a book about - this could be an opportunity to learn more about writing/self publishing, or get ideas from everyone else.

Whether you are self employed and working from home, a business development manager, or a company owner - everyone is welcome! As a lot of people don't use Facebook, you don't have to be a member of the Facebook group to attend.

By the end of the meeting, you will have networked and met other business owners (and catch up with existing contacts), identified goals and knowledge, and discovered ideas for the way forward with your book ideas.

SPACES ARE LIMITED and booking is essential - so book early to avoid disappointment.

Agenda & format

This will be a round the table discussion/networking.

1. 15 to 20 minutes of general networking.

2. Brief round the room introductions.

3. Guest speaker

4. Discuss the books we are writing, written or thought about writing.

5. General networking / discussions.
