Join us from 12pm for coffee and a 30-minute Q&A with Cassie & Amber! Ever wanted to know what really happens in radio, what happens when the mics are off?

This will be followed by Q&A plus around the table introduction from our guests.

Then the part we all quietly await - Brunch! Carry on your networking as we all enjoy a delicious brunch by the amazing Mharsanta Chefs!

ABOUT CASSIE:

June 2007 - Joined the Clyde 1 Street Team.

January 2010 - Started training for broadcast and learnt from the best at Radio Clyde.

December 2012 - I made it ON AIR! I presented the Kool Ride To School on Friday mornings and then started working behind the scenes in production.

March 2013 - I made it through my first travel shift and started covering morning and home run travel.

January 2014 - I got the Breakfast Travel Job. Woohoo!

ABOUT AMBER:

2013: I took part in a course at the Bauer Academy at Radio Clyde (ironically after hearing an ad for it on Clyde 1) and then basically they couldn't get rid of me - once I had the email addresses of a few people I pestered them and came back for 2 more courses, the Academy is amazing and a brilliant way to step into the industry

2014: I did a 3 month internship on the Clyde 2 breakfast show where I helped with production and all of the 'behind the scenes stuff', I began making some demos for travel and in the September I started presenting the 'Kool Ride 2 School' on Thursday mornings on Bowie @ Breakfast which was my first time on-air!

2015 - now: I was lucky enough to start presenting the travel on Clyde 1's Home Run with Grant Thomson in January 2015, and now we are like a little married couple, we are full of fun and banter and we niggle at each other for ridiculous things, I wouldn't have it any other way! I look after him, he would be lost without me! I also love covering Cassi in the mornings on breakfast when she's on holiday because I've listened to George since I was wee and I like to make him feel old!
