Lanarkshire Business Hub - Networking Breakfast

You are invited to our next networking event on Thursday 26th April at Macdonald Crutherland House Hotel.

Come along to this event to make new business connections, and hear from Matt Donnely, Managing Director, ad+ Chartered Accountants

On arrival you will enjoy an hour's networking over tea/coffee and a hot roll. This will be followed by Matt's presentation "Making Tax Digital (MTD): How to get your business ready for MTD submissions", and "How your business could benefit from MTD changes".

It is clear that MTD has now arrived, and you must make whatever changes are necessary to get your business's bookkeeping processes sorted to comply with MTD requirements. Some businesses will already have good bookkeeping processes, and will operate modern software that can prepare and submit the returns digitally to HMRC. Other businesses will not be so prepared, and they will have to make changes.

Matt will outline the up-to-date position regarding this landmark change, and will describe the software and procedural requirements being imposed by HMRC. He will offer practical advice on how to get prepared so that your business will make MTD submissions that are accurate, in the compatible digital format, and on time. Matt will describe how your business could benefit from the improved flow of up-to-date financial information, which will make it easier for you to know how your business is trading, and indicate when corrective action is required.
