Socially Shared Business Network - Coventry Socially Shared - Writing Your 'About Us'.

We do hope you will join us at this Socially Shared meeting in Coventry. Held in the upstairs room at the Mocha Lounge our meetings have a relaxed feel, like meeting friends for coffee but you will of course meet other local women in business, grow your network of contacts and benefit from knowledge with a mini workshop too.

The topic for this meeting is Writing Your 'About Us'.

Writing about yourself and your business can be one of the most difficult things to do and the 'about me' or 'about us' section on your website or social media bio is no different. In this session Shelley Wilson Writing Mentor and our resident blogger will be talking us through how you can overcome this challenge and use the 'about us' in a positive way to boost interest from both your audience and the search engines.

Our meetings are very affordable with the cost of each meeting being only £10 for non-members and only £7 for members. Please note that all tickets need to be purchased in advance and unfortunately if you attend without a ticket there will be a higher charge of £12 payable on the day.

The ticket price includes the mini workshop and a handout, which is yours to take back to your business, however refreshments do need to be paid for separately.

Our sessions are open to any women who are running a business, working in a business or thinking of starting one...so feel free to extend the invite to others who may be interested. Feel free to bring your business cards along if you have them, although you will have the opportunity to introduce yourself and your business to the other ladies attending ( we do not have any formal 60 second pitches or buzzers.)

Socially Shared is a monthly business support network and member's club for women. We have networks in Alcester, Coventry, Kenilworth, Rugby, Solihull and Stratford upon Avon.

Our monthly meetings combine networking and learning with the opportunity to make new connections, gain support from others and take part in a mini workshop where a handout is provided.

Although there is a membership club, you do not have to join as a member, you can simply just pay as you go. We do not have a one seat policy and you can go to any of the network meetings, as time and business allows.

The network was founded by Karen Heap of Orchard Business Development and continues to be run by Karen along with a team of associates. In addition to the monthly network meetings there are also a variety of other special events that are held throughout the year, for example the annual Women In Business Conference.
