Part professional development, part action learning set, part support group, ALL BARGAIN, over the six weeks you will become so much more confident in doing your own marketing and PR. The Brand Booster Bitesize programme is empowering, practical, easy to fit into a busy work schedule and affordable.

Starting Friday 1st May 2015, for the first course: 9.00 am for drinks and fruit, 9.15 am start- 11.45 finish so you can get back to work, or stay for 1:1 clinic time with Faye and network until 12.00 at the Prince of Wales, Ecclesall Road South (just at the junction with Carterknowle Road opposite All Saints Church.)

WEEK 1: 01 May Creating your personal and business profile - today we will be creating the building blocks of your brand, a long and short version of your life and business story and networking introduction.

WEEK 2: 8 May Writing a press release and handling the media - in this workshop we will analyse how to write a press release or news in brief to gain media attention, look at your potential stories and write your first press release.

WEEK 3: 15 May Creating a PR plan for press, radio and TV - we will be looking at what hooks in your story will get you the most attention and analyzing the 27 ways I have identified I can help you get in front of the local and regional media over the next few months.

WEEK 4: 22 May Developing a marketing plan- PR is only one of four legs your marketing chair needs. Today we will be creating your marketing plan looking at the other three 'legs': electronic marketing including social media, materials from your business cards to displays and face to face networking.

WEEK 5: 05 June Developing a sales plan and contact strategy - in this workshop we will together create an action plan looking at how to maximize sales and your contact strategy. How you are using case studies and testimonials, reviewing your website and exploring video.

WEEK 6: 12 June Your personal style, image and photos - sad but true, people judge us on appearances, never more so than in the harsh light of the media. In this workshop, we'll be looking at how men and women can create a groomed and stylish personal image. This workshop will feature guest speakers from the North's largest independent style and image studio, True Colours Sheffield, with Master image consultant Jane Chapman and top photographer Allie Langham of Chrysalis Photography. Delegates will take away a host of tips and recommendations.

About the Trainer: Faye Smith of Keep Your Fork leads a marketing, PR and training consultancy in Sheffield, specialising in supporting and training charities, social enterprises and small businesses. Faye is a volunteer and founder of the Sheffield Media Hub, has been a finalist in the Sheffield Hallam Student Employer of the Year for supporting, employing and training interns, is a Business Woman finalist in the Yorkshire Woman of the Year, Red magazine's Women of the Year community champion finalist, and Winner of the Yorkshire Trainers Association innovation in training and best client testimonial award. Her company is piloting a brand booster programme with a national bank, and will publish a self-help book and video series.
