The Just About Writing event is a day dedicated to the written word in its many forms. The importance of first impressions often begins with our website and online presence. Having good quality copy, and telling your brand story in the right way can make a huge difference to your business. More and more small businesses and individuals are also beginning to understand the importance of blogging as a way to keep in constant contact with their ideal customer. As our personal and professional targets grow, we should be aiming to evolve our skills. Adding an additional stream of income can be the ideal way to achieve this. Writing a book around your business niche, or even your personal journey to where you are today can offer such an income stream.

This event looks at how you can use the written word to improve your business, evolve your personal and professional skills, and create something tangible to benefit you and your business.

Socially Shared is a monthly business support network and member's club for women. We have networks in Alcester, Coventry, Kenilworth, Rugby, Solihull and Stratford upon Avon.

Our monthly meetings combine networking and learning with the opportunity to make new connections, gain support from others and take part in a mini workshop where a handout is provided.

Although there is a membership club, you do not have to join as a member, you can simply just pay as you go. We do not have a one seat policy and you can go to any of the network meetings, as time and business allows.

The network was founded by Karen Heap of Orchard Business Development and continues to be run by Karen along with a team of associates. In addition to the monthly network meetings there are also a variety of other special events that are held throughout the year, for example the annual Women In Business Conference.
