Walsall based International Cake Manufacturer supports local Women In Business Event!

A family run business, set up in 2000 has built an incredible reputation with a presence in over 10 countries across Europe, working with key partners in the international markets and has won many local and national awards for its export success. The company has recently experienced rapid expansions due to their export success headed by Gurdeep Singh Bath (Director of Exports) with recent growth rates of over 40% and the creation of a second site in Walsall which was specially built and designed for the export markets. The company produces over 40 different ranges of handmade, freshly baked, high quality cakes, and supply to large wholesalers such as Makro and large retailers such as Asda and exports to Europe and North Africa. Perfection Foods has plans to grow the business into emerging markets such as the BRIC economies and is currently working on expansion plans in key markets such as North, South America and Asia. Gurdeep Singh Bath (Director of Exports) who took over his father's business and launched it onto the International platform in 2010 is looking for entrepreneurs to increase the company's growth and presence both nationally and internationally.

As an experienced event organisor with over 20 years in the exhibition industry, Pushpa Alexander provides women in business, high quality business networking events, offering fantastic opportunities to connect and market their business to each other. Headz Up Business through its networking events has also attracted for the Walsall region International recognition.

In September 2009 Pushpa Alexander hosted a women's networking event attended by 19 Swedish female entrepreneurs. The following year in march 2010 Christine Lester, CEO from West Midlands Tomorrow Ltd adopted the Headz Up Networking model for a European Project WIN project (Women Innovating Network), five businesses' from Italy and four businesses' from Latvia attended the event to make links, exchange knowledge and share best practices with UK Partners. The overseas visitors included Settimio Bravi, the Mayor of the Municipality of Sant' Angelo in Vado from Italy.

So with an expected turnout of 100 + women business owners and professionals on Friday 8th March 2013 at Walsall Football Club, the focus at the event will be to bring the regions women business owners, corporate, entrepreneurs, professionals, leading educators to provide and encourage business growth by providing women business keynote speakers to share and inspire fellow women entrepreneurs.
