Worthing ladies do lunch, and network!

Next month sees the launch of the Worthing Ladies Lunch Club, which holds its inaugural lunch event on Wednesday 14 March at Carabao Restaurant in Warwick Street, Worthing.

The event will be sponsored by award-winning local branding agency, The Brand Surgery with Managing Director Vicky Vaughn on hand to give hints and tips about good branding.

"The Worthing Ladies Lunch Club is open to any local business women or professionals," said Lara Squires, founder of the Ladies Lunch Clubs. "We're a fairly unique networking club in that we don't charge a membership fee. It's simply an opportunity to network with like-minded women in an informal atmosphere."

Lara herself is no stranger to networking and already operates ladies networking lunches in Lewes, Eastbourne and Tunbridge Wells, with the latter now in its eight year. Having moved to Worthing late in 2011 she wanted to bring the concept to the town for the benefit of Worthing's professional business women.

Lara adds "I think the reason for the success of the Ladies Lunch Club is that we never forget why we are there; lunch and socialising are fun but ultimately we are all there to make contacts and help each other do business more effectively."
