Vincent Billings voted President of the Islington Chamber

Vincent Billings, Senior Solicitor at Bolt Burdon was elected President of the Islington Chamber of Commerce on June 30th 2011. Bolt Burdon Solicitors have been a long standing member of the chamber with Bolt Burdon's founder Lynne Burdon once being President of the chamber herself. Vincent's commitment and dedication to the ICoC has been one of the defining points of the chamber's new vision since the appointment of its CEO, Ronke Lawal in 2010.

Vincent is a corporate solicitor who deals with all aspects of corporate transactions and business law. He joined the ICoC in November 2009 as a director and has been an active part of the ICoC Board. "One of the best things I enjoy about being part of the ICoC is talking to business owners and stakeholders about their business. Whether it is creative businesses or professional services, I always find it inspiring when I meet people who are passionate and enthusiastic about their business, which is certainly the case in Islington and which makes being a part of the ICoC a privilege".

2011-2012 is set to be an exciting time for the Islington Chamber of Commerce; with the launch of its inaugural Camden and Islington Business Awards and the expansion of the Camden Business Network. President Billings will seek to use his expertise and leadership skills to guide the ICoC in the right direction for Islington businesses.
