Events With The Edge - Georgina Harris & Jane Doyle of NWEDR at North Worcestershire Business Breakfast Club

Started in November 2012 Events With the Edge were asked to set up a new networking event in the area. Our chosen venue was the Crown and Sandys in Ombersley which is very popular with our attendees, to network informally to exchange ideas and potentially increase client loads and generally build good local working relationships. The membership now includes businesses from Malvern, Evesham, Worcester, Droitwich, Stourbridge, Hagley, Halesowen and Birmingham and is regularly attended by between 35 to 50 people.

Doors open at 0745 for an 0800 start with breakfast at 0820. There is an opportunity for plenty of networking with different people prior to breakfast, whilst it is being served and over the breakfast table.

We have high quality speakers who include Mark Garnier MP for Wyre Forest, Stewart Towe, Chair of The Hadley Group, Mike Ashton, CEO of Hereford & Worcestershire Chamber, David Harper, Top Barn, Clare Marchant, CEO of Worcestershire County Council.

This months speaker is Georgina Harris & Jane Doyle of will be updating us on current and future activities of North Worcestershire Economic Development & Regeneration. The purpose of the NWEDR shared service is simple. It is to promote and enable growth and sustainable development within North Worcestershire.

Costs are kept to a minimum; there is no subscription fee just an attendance fee of £18.00 per person, including VAT payable in advance.
