Cappuccino Connections is informal networking for Athena members providing them with an opportunity to network with members from surrounding Athena groups Its also an opportunity to make contact with local business ladies and to spend time building those all important business relationships.

It may seem like a long time between Athena meetings and we don't always get the opportunity for as many 1-2-1 meetings with each other that we would like. Come and have several 1-2-1 meetings under one roof!

For those ladies who haven't visited an Athena group, Cappuccino Connections is a great ice breaker for many new to Athena and/or to networking. Meeting many Athena members can really help to melt the ice so you feel comfortable about attending a full on networking meeting.

The Wallace Collection is a national museum which displays the wonderful works of art collected in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries by the first four Marquesses of Hertford and Sir Richard Wallace, the son of the 4th Marquess. It was bequeathed to the British nation by Sir Richard's widow, Lady Wallace, in 1897.

Displayed at Hertford House, one of the family's London properties in the nineteenth century, the Wallace Collection presents its outstanding collections in a sumptuous but approachable manner which is an essential part of its charm. This museum is mostly know elegant French Rococo art and the one of the greatest collections of the armoury. But at this tour we are going to explore art from different centuries and styles.

Firstly, we are going to see and learn about the magnificent Medieval and Renaissance works of art, including Goldsmiths' work.

Secondly, we are going to come up on the opulent staircase to the Great Gallery, which hosts very important fine art collection of paintings, and lean much more about best European artists collected in centuries by the Wallace's family.

And finally, we are going to retreat to the restaurant with its courtyard setting is a glass covered atrium within the walls of the Wallace Collection and continue to network there
