Urbano Network - London networking event - Urbano networking evening event at The Yacht London

Urbano holds an evening networking event each month which are famously relaxed and informal events, with facilitated networking and a unique online Event Group for post-event networking. Everyone is also given an attendee sheet with the details of every company and their representatives. Non-members always welcome.

Attendees are drawn from a range of sectors and sizes of companies, from professionals and creatives, directors and managers, large corporates and SMEs, all looking to network over a glass of wine with a friendly crowd of interested contacts.

Our April networking evening will be hosted by The Yacht London, a marvellous members club and restaurant moored on The Thames between Temple and Embankment. where you will will be pipped on-board to a friendly welcome and enjoy two complimentary drinks and canapes, courtesy of the venue.

The networking event starts at 6pm and Urbano's MD Mark Herring will help you find interesting contacts within the roomful of 75 business owners, directors, partners and senior corporates that our monthly events attract.

Urbano evenings are famously relaxed and the conversations friendly and natural. The mix is diverse and 'selling' is frowned upon. No rapid-fire two-minute mini-presentations or stiff handshakes as you rush around the room.

Urbano's unique online networking toolkit means you don't have to speak to everyone in the room. You will always stay connected online through the event group (even non-members) and so you can network at your own pace and with those you would like to chat to.

Urbano is an independent business networking community that grew out of Shoreditch, London, from the early 2000's and helps our membership of mainly small, medium and micro companies - and those that run and work for them - to connect, engage, share, learn, and together develop new business opportunities.

Urbano consists of different Communities: Build, Create, Finance, Host, Tech, UWACTE (Urbano Women In Architecture, Construction, Technology & Engineering), Work & Zero Carbon. Like the UK economy, the majority of our member companies work in the Build community sectors, but we are well represented with members in the other sectors, too.

We are also pro-active, making introductions outside of events between members where we see value. We also offer a range of member services, including Tenders & Opportunities Notices.
