Nicola's Dad lent her 20k when she was 21 to buy her first house, by her late 20s she had built up a million pound portfolio whilst working in fashion.

In her early 30s she found herself as a single parent and she knew she needed a career change, so that she could not only support herself, but also be around for her daughter. So she chose to move into property full time.

Over the last 5 years, she has self funded and flipped a handful of high return refurbs, in and around zone 1 & 2, including terraced houses and ex authority flats. These were completed by ripping back to bare bricks, opening up the space as much as possible to create light and open homes, whilst not compromising on style or spec.

During this time, she has been approached by property owners who wanted help managing refurbishments of their own properties, either residential homes or investments. It become clear that there is a real lack of contractors that people feel they can trust, and who speak in a language they understand.

She talks here of some of her projects and her experience with contractors, both good and bad.
